We had a Birthday Lunch here on Saturday and this establishment ticked all the boxes. With 14 people in attendance the chefs were magicians every single dish was serve at once. Not too many Pubs I have eaten at in recent times get this right...I was very impressed. They Scored 14 out of 14 for quality and taste the entire party were satisfied. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Would definitely call again.
This restaurant is much more attractive than typical suburban park pubs. It even has a sidewalk outside! The interior is nice with front and back decks, and the staff is friendly. Surprisingly, the beers are cheaper here than in Sutherland. I didn't eat there because the prices seemed high for pub food, so I can't comment on the quality of the food. It's very unexpected for a pub in a prime location to be so good.
Had a lunch on a Sunday with family and was let down by the time it took our food order to come out, 45 minutes for pub food was not acceptable and it was not busy. When we complained to the manager he did offer...to not charge us but we settled on a gift voucher. The food was actually quite good and tasty. We will be going back in the next few months to see if the service has improved, I’m hopeful.
We have been going to Bangor Tavern for a pub meal for a few years, but we will never eat there again. The salmon was only 1cm thick and seemed to come from the tail end of the fish. It was overcooked and dry, served with a small portion of tasteless rice. The dish cost $33, which was a rip-off for the portion size. I even put my fork next to the meal to show how tiny it was. Took my mother and family for lunch, staff were fast, efficient and friendly. The place was busy and we got there at 12.00 pm no one waited too long and the food was fabulous. My son and I had the burgers my daughter had the...wedges and mum had the marinara all food was top notch. Will be going back again!!!!!
Good for a quick midweek dinner. Fast Service and food was o.k. Chicken schnitzel was very nice and gravy had a good flavour. Slow cooked lamb salad was terrible. Small pieces of cold pulled lamb with no flavour over a heap of salad. Would not...recommend at all. Average beer prices.Will try again.
Have just moved to the area and looking for a new local and this won't be it. Ordered a beer and virgin mojito and charged $22.50! A little too expensive for a beer and mocktail for us. Cheeseburger also half raw with no lettuce or...tomato.
Have been a few times now on a Thursday night for a quick bite to eat. The pizza is very good for $12.00. Have tried a few other dishes and they are OK, more pub food than fine dining but on the whole good value for money. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
