And nothing did... My flatmates had some slight hesitation when we arrived, due to the sparse furnishing, and the small size of the dining area, as well as the lack of patrons. But we were arriving a little after 6.00pm, and it was early.

Tonight we ate at this tiny , low key restaurant after hearing about it from a friend. We love lebanese food but had been looking for somewhere new since being increasingly disappointed in the food and services at our usual restaurant. We all indulged in a mixed plate ($16.50) each with a side of the most delicious hot chips. The mixed plate was ample for everyone. The kibbe, falafel and chicken kebab were soft and fresh. I did think the tabouli could have had a bit more parsley and lemon juice but I still enjoyed it. We all agreed to dine there again soon.
We have been frequenting this quaint restaurant for about 13 years. Never fails to deliver on flavour and value. We arrived today, for the first time in a while and laughed that they had increased the price of a mixed plate, with bread , salad and garlic sauce to $16.50!! Can't believe these guys are still delivering great quality food at such a crazy low price! Don't pay $30 or more from fancier establishments... Lunch for 2 with a can of drink $18.50, with an extra basket of bread?!! Can't beat.... Go and enjoy it! Btw.. No alcohol....

This small restaurant makes all their food fresh each day and the quality is unbeatable.Service is always pleasant. I travel two hours by train to get here and the journey is worth it.I have never had a bad meal here in all the years I have been coming here.The mixed plate is outstanding.The food is absolutely delicious .I am a fussy eater and quite frankly I can't fault the food or the service.From memory lunch for the two of us was definitely under $30.
This has to be some of the absolute best Lebanese food I have ever eaten. I had the mixed plate which every element on the plate was pure perfection. The chicken and lamb had the signature charcoal flavour but with all its inherent juciness. This is a place that takes pride in what is obviously all home made and handmade items.<br/ <br/ A real family orientated establishement with great service!!!<br/ <br/ Looking forward to my next visit! The best food ever, must try!!! Food is of really good quality and not as pricey as all these expensive restaurants. Great place for families and anyone looking for a good Lebanese meal<br/
This little cafe just on the edge of Bankstown CBD has efficient and friendly service, and pretty good coffee served in beautiful ceramics.

Their garlic sauce is better than el jannah. I can’t eat el jannah anymore. Service is a bit slow as one team member is both the waiter and the cook.
Delicious food nice stuff and the place is very clean not expensive and fast service the one meal enough for 2 people
