We found this gem thanks to TripAdvisor. The first issue locating the restaurant... the restaurant itself is very unassuming, hidden behind and above others. First impressions... being welcomed by French rather than Thai staff surprised us... this did not prove to be a problem. The food was definitely Thai, excellent, and the person running the kitchen was from the right area. The food we ate was excellent, very well presented, very tasty, and just the right level of spice ses for us both. We passed a splendid evening here. Our final verdict... this is a hidden gem in the area. Definitely think about booking, it was busy with local diners (that's always a good sign)
This is the 4th time my wife and I have had a lovely evening at Bansomho in Vallon Pont d'Arc. Whilst visiting my Mum who lives locally, we always make the effort to eat at this fantastic restaurant. The menu is authentic Thai with a modern twist and I alway struggle to decide to eat as everything sounds so amazing. The owner/staff are very friendly, professional, knowledgable and clearly take a lot of pride in their restaurant. As a chef, I am quite a picky customer, so really appreciate great food when I get it. I really hope people support this lovely restaurant, so that they are in business for many years to come.
Le restaurant est situé sur une terrasse à l'étage donc on se retrouve déjà plus au calme du buzz de la rue. L'accueil est au top, les serveurs sont sympas, et le cadre est vraiment top! Niveau cuisine, tout était très bon, bien épicé, un bon mélange de saveur, la gastronomie thaïlandaise est bien respectée (normal, le chef vit en Thaïlande, donc c'est une valeur sûre!!!!)Je recommande cet endroit!!! Le seul bémol, pour les végétariens, il n'y a pas de choix dans les entrées ou les soupes (dommage...).
Nous avons mangé au restaurant Bansomho sur les conseils d'un ami et nous n'avons pas été déçu du tout; c'est simple on croirait manger en Thaïlande. Le chef cuisine typiquement thaïlandais, normal il y vit depuis 30 ans, très abordable et pas avare de conseil!!! Nous avons voyagé à de nombreuses reprises en Thaïlande et l'on retrouve exactement les m^mes saveurs, un plaisir pour les papilles.De l'entrée au dessert ce fut un véritable festin.Une adresse à connaitre à tester.

We dined here during our stay in Vallon and would have liked to return but ran out of time! Service was friendly and we were lucky to get a table on spec as the place was busy. I had a green curry and my wife had noodles with prawn and chicken. Excellent food well presented. Would recommend and would have returned!!
Sitting at their terrace on the first floor, a friendly waitress helps us with a good choice of fish and vegetarian dishes. The food is tasty and fresh home-made and we enjoy our diner with a smashing, refreshing Mojito!
Un service de qualité, une terrasse au calme et une cuisine Thaïlandaise excellente nous y allons en famille et avec les amis toujours très bien reçu ! Une des meilleures adresses de Vallon Pont d'Arc !
Un diner en amoureux sur la terrasse. Un moment de détente au calme. Des assiettes avec des multiples saveurs.Toujours aussi bon...nous y retournerons sans aucune hésitation !!!

Accueil chaleureux, cuisine excellente, ambiance envoûtante et terrasse magnifiques. Seul restaurant de vallon qui se différencie des autres.
excellent restaurant la cuisine est extra et l 'accueil aussi !!!! tous est fait maison et ces ce qui fait plaisir de nos jours !!!
