Bar du marche - Tisch reservieren

Too many restaurants in France are in a rush to close at 2pm, so we were happy to know that this simple eatery welcomes patrons as the lazy afternoon moves on. Good, reasonably-priced wine, a gourmet salad, and some well-prepared frites were all we needed. The smoked duck in the salad was excellent -- and we would have preferred more of it instead of the rather-greasy piece of foie gras that was served warm.

Food is very good important to reserve on Market Days (Tuesday and Friday) if you want to eat lunch there. Formule Midi is often a good deal as well as an opportunity to try something new!

Simple food that is as good as you would hope, we had the burgers and they were superb. Happy to recommend and service was good even at a busy time!
