Before our arrival in Nyons we agreed to have a meal at Bar du pont. At that stage of our travels, it was a question of location rather than interest in food. Sitting high above the river Eygues and with a wonderful of the old "Roman" bridge, it seemed an obvious place for either a drink or a meal. We ended up stopping for a lunch one day, and evening drinks on a couple of occasions. While the service is not the best imaginable, it is acceptable, and the food (salads and pizza) was very good. Magnificent view, delightful ambiance, and respectable food and service. We were satisfied.
En vacances proche de Nyons, nous sommes tombé sur ce restaurant très agréable avec sans doute la meilleure vue de la ville sur le pont emblématique . Un personnel très agréable et souriant qui connaît parfaitement son job et n’essaye pas de vous gaver inutilement, (je retiens une seule portion de frites proposée pour 2 personnes et qui s’est en effet avérée bien suffisante). Je recommande de sans aucun doute. Hâte d’y retourner.
Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir manger là car nous n’avions pas réserver! Je vous recommande de reserver à l’avance car les tables sont très précieuse! Leur cuisine est vraiment top, quasi tout leur produit sont locaux et franchement ça se goute! En un mot c’etait une experiense FORMIDABLE avec une vue EXTRA ORDINAIRE!! Je recommande Price per person: €10–20
Si vous allez a Nyons ! Ne ratez pas les terrasses du pont C’est un delice pour les yeux et pour la bouche !! Personnel ultra sympa, patron ultra tres tres sympa ! Et plein d’humour Il faut me supporter avec mes vannes a deux balles ! Lol Un grand moment a refaire !! Quand c’est canon faut le dire Continu comme ça

This restaurant will accept a table of 2 people at 1:45pm but will refuse a table of 8 people. The view seemed magnificent. However, the attitude from the server took our joy away from us when giving us some silly attitudes. The customer service was non-existent.

Simple classic bistro food on a beautiful terrace. Prices so low you can only wonder how. Steak frites salad **** lovely at less than 12 euros and enough for two. Rapid service and waiters who know their business.
Really, the view says it all. Just grab one of their delicious "Le Pont" pizzas, a beer and sit and enjoy lunch at this quieter end of town!
