We ended up coming to this place several times during our stay in Aigues-Mortes. it is completely different from the typical French stereo bar - more than one pub. the range of drinks offered is impressive. the owner estimated that he had 3,500 different brands but could not count the bottles. every winter, he invests in more brands of spirits, wines and beers, with many Belgian beers. There are more brands of whisky here than many bars in glasgow or in édimbourg! cocktails are also popular here. The atmosphere is very cool, relaxed and friendly. the owner speaks English (we discovered the 2nd night), but we tried to discuss in French as much as possible. If you want to experience a different experience in this charming city, you have to go to the tac tac. it is small but offers an incredible range of beers, wines and spirits. Hundreds of bottles, probably thousands! the owner has a great knowledge of what is proposed and always seems to know where to find it! they also serve a range of meats and pasta, etc., so if you want a different evening and in a good atmosphere, it is worth looking up.
You would never know that this bar was there all day, but go in front of the evening, cross the door without pretence in another world. But marco can find everything. it is simply a unique experience - not very French, to be fair, but very unusual.
