My comment will be in the line of the previous ones. The atmosphere in this mountain troquet is rather, how to say, original. Between the boss who screams on the customers who kindly ask to eat out, the dishes that sings at the doors of the kitchen, the infinite time to get and settle the bill, the patibular waitress that puts lead to the client and whose friendliness alone deserves a mention in the guiness of records, we no longer know where to give head! This establishment would probably have been scratched from the map if there had been competition but there is no in Vizzavona, the great misfortune of the hikers of GR20, forced to refuel in conditions recalling the famous inn in the film...
The guests come here almost by themselves via the GR20, you don't have to make any effort. Unfriendly, stuffy, I didn't feel welcome here as a guest, more like a disturbing side effect. One star is at least one too many. I would have liked to tell the host or waitress directly how disappointed I was, but my French isn't good enough for that. This establishment is a refuge of antipathic people. How is it possible to do this job without showing any signs of symphacy or kindness to the customers? Between a waitress who is kind as a prison door and the boss who threatens you to get out of his guns because you wear a hood all this is totally moved and ridiculous. Run! Ideally placed in the middle of the GR20 (but accessible by road and train) for quietly scamming hikers: icy reception, insane prices for ultra-limited quantity, the constant impression of disturbing if you are lucky to read these reviews before your trip to Vizzavona, stop anywhere except in this place! The reception is deplorable, a real prison door. The sheets and pillows are dirty. 12 euros for a machine and the clothes are more dirty than before... black tracks have appeared and none of the initial tasks are gone. Shop with little choice and expensive. Better go to the other shelter.
