This is a small place in a quiet village (the road ends here, so no through traffic), inside and outside seating, at the end of October there were no tourists about but the place didn't seem dead, a few friendly locals having a beer and a chat. They offer two courses for €13 or three for €15, no menu, what was available was told to me. I have an excellent chicken ceasar salad to start with, there was much more to it than the price would suggest, then a steak frites, good quality meat nicely cooked. I was in the village as part of a walk and will definitely arrange another walk and a lunch here. Good value, nice service in a nice location

The terrace is very nice on a sunny day. The service is pleasant but a little long to arrive. Some olives and squares of cheese to wait but nothing unbelievable. The kitchen is relatively basic but it passes for quantity and price. In conclusion, I think it's a nice restaurant when you're on the way, but I'm not going to Malaussène to eat.
