Restaurante Ruta 340 is located on the road running parallel to the A7 Autovia del Mediterráneo (presumably the old N340a) on the outskirts of Totana. An impressive looking building with a covered outdoor terraced dining area. Quite suited to smokers. Inside there is a well sized bar room with tables chairs running along the righthand side an odd shaped bar running along the full length of the opposite side. There are a couple of large wooden barrels in the centre of the room which are used as tables. Feature tiles to the bar front up some of the walls. Tiled flooring. Glass cabinet on the bar countertop displays a nice selection of tapas. Flatscreen TV. Unsure if there is WiFi. Toilets full...

I organised a coach trip to Lorca but could not find a suitable restaurant. Discovered Ruta 340 purely by chance. Discussed my needs in person after which everything was negotiated by email and WhatsApp. The delightful manager, Thiago, was very helpful and we chose a suitable menu. My party of 54 people pre-ordered their lunch and on the day the restaurant catered to our every need. Thiago even employed an English speaking waiter for us. The food was piping hot, very tasty and service was quick. There were no complaints from the group. At the end of our trip we all returned to the restaurant for coffee. Thank you Thiago!

Quiet place where people can eat. Big and nice portion. Vegetarians will find their food, but vegans probably don't. Even the stuff is very nice. However, it is a restaurant that has only the fact that it is on the road or nearby, the detour is not worth it. The food tastes good and it looks like homemade. The points takes of the fact that a lot of annoying flies were there. The outdoor terrace is nice with artificial grass. I rate it at 3 and a half points up to 4.

Delicious food great service- we were served by an English waiter who was an extremely pleasant young man. The food was very reasonably priced with large portions- my partner had a steak which was cooked to perfection and extremely large! Will definitely be returning Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Exceptionally clean restaurant... wonderful helpful staff who helped with menu translation. We had the menu of the day which was fabulous and incredibly filling and excellent value for money. Couldn't fault this place in any way. Continue with your great service !
