I can't fault the staff for their efforts, and to be fair, the steak is not terrible. However, I would not recommend this restaurant overall. The add ons were poor quality and overpriced. The chips were very disappointing, and the vegetables seemed like they came from a can. The rack of ribs was especially disappointing - it seemed like they were microwaved from a plastic bag and had a high markup in price. If you're looking for friendly staff and mediocre, overpriced food, then this place is for you. Otherwise, I would suggest trying elsewhere, as I will not be returning.
We reserved this restaurant for a group of seven to celebrate my daughter's seventeenth birthday. We wish we had discovered this place sooner. The food was fantastic and the portions were huge. Three of us ordered the Farmhouse platter, which even included a picture of us. The restaurant was great, and the two waiters were friendly and professional, adding a lovely personal touch with a birthday brownie for my daughter. Thank you once again for providing a fantastic birthday treat.
Thank you to the guys who made my nephews 21st birthday so special last night. As a freelance head chef I was just so thankful to all that made the evening so special. Food great, service just fantastic . We will all be retuning. The guy who served us made a real effort with group photos and my 1p year old nephew earing a monster burger that was presented perfectly. Thanks guys, steak was cooked just right too. Will recommend to all
Wow, what a little gem this place is!! came here for the 60oz steak and wasn't disappointed with what turned up. the staff were friendly and very attentive, they had a rather noisy table just behind us and after a while asked us if we'd like to sit somewhere else as we could hear each other! Definitely recommend this place and we'll be back!!

Decided to give this one last chance after a couple of negative experiences BC before Covid) ordered half a calf. Cut of meat very poor, couldn’t eat half of it because of the fat. Cooked perfectly however, but just a bad cut of meat. Also, bill was £80, so not best pleased and won’t be returning.
The steak was absolutely amazing. I went with my mom on Saturday, January 20th and attempted the 60oz steak, but could only finish 50oz of it. My mom had the lamb and also enjoyed her meal.
Large mixed grill. Huge portion. Decent enough quality for the money so value for money. Friendly, welcoming and pleasant staff. Good location at the barbican area
