we have visited several times in this pastry shop which also makes tea room. they have two great specialties: the Basque cake of course and the chaumontais. A real tury, a clever mix between Russian, macaron and meringue. The team is of extraordinary kindness, and taking the time of a tea (or a good coffee or a fresh drink) accompanied by a piece of cake gives you a strong feeling of well-being and relaxation.
I bought on Saturday May 27 at the bakery of st etienne of baigorry 2 basque cakes (1 with jam and 1 with cream) made in this pâtisserie of st jean foot of port and I was extremely disappointed because the filling was nonexistent in these 2 cakes. a this title, it's the worst I've ever had to eat. I called the pastry shop to report it but the person who responded was not listening to the comment I was doing

If you just want a coffee or tea or fruit juice and some plain Basque cake, this is a good place with a clean and large toilet. It's on the main shopping street so handy. The ice cream looks good too.
