Barclay Prime Steakhouse in Philadelphia is truly a culinary haven that delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Our visit to this establishment was nothing short of extraordinary. The $140 cheesesteak, which we tried as a starter, exceeded our expectations in every way. It was absolutely phenomenal a true culinary masterpiece that showcased the quality and craftsmanship that Barclay Prime is known for. Been here 3 times and is easily my favorite restaurant to spend a little money on. Every time I have been here the service has been excellent and the food even better. There are not many places I think the food justifies the price but Barclay Prime is certainly one of them! They also have a special BP Old Fashion that is absolutely delicious, but is a hefty $30. Definitely worth a try at least once though!
There's only one word I have for my evening at Barclay Prime.... WOW! From the moment you walk in, the ambience, the atmosphere nothing short of WOW. And then came the bread, homemade , then the steak which was the best steak I've ever had, and I couldn't say no to the blueberry tart which was homemade and incredible. Service was amazing as well. Really just an excellent experience all around.
Quite a birthday celebration! Excellent sevice and options. We had a hard time picking what we wanted for dinner but thought we did well. West and East coast oysters, hamachi crudo, scallops as apps, the amazing cheesesteak and Omi steak. Everything was good except for the Omi steak being too salty for us. This was BY FAR the best steak I have ever eaten in. my. life. I will have dreams about the truffle whipped potatoes!! We had: 10oz filet, 18oz ribeye, wild salmon. ALL were fantastic! And the service...chefs kiss. Absolutely fantastic experience and will make the hour trip to Philly just to come back here!
Food was outstanding. Loved the vibe of this place. Not a steak enthusiast but the steak here was done right. Service overall was 4/5. Good place to treat your family or loved ones for a special occasion.
Food was good, but not worth $800 for 4 people. Dover Sole, Chilean Sea Bass, and filet better at our Bucks County Restaurants! Service Ok.

Phenomenal service in the bar! Food is always outstanding. Must order potatoes gratin and truffle mac and cheese every visit.
