There was live music on the grill side, and the band was very friendly, creating a tight-knit atmosphere that exuded a lot of aloha spirit. As for the food, we chose to eat from the grill. They cooked our steaks exactly to our liking and served them at our table alongside salad, rice, and roasted vegetables. We even went back for seconds. The servers were courteous and friendly, making the whole dining experience enjoyable. The price was definitely worth it. We found nearby parking easily too. Some friends who went to get smoothies said those were good as well! Just a heads up, there can be a bit of a wait at times, but the music makes it worthwhile. I’m already looking forward to going...
That was probably my favorite spot in Oahu. It's not just the location, but their Ahi Poke bowls are incredible. They also offer these "pineapple smoothies," which are essentially a whole pineapple hollowed out and turned into a drinkable treat. It's fantastic! I tried to grab a cold coconut three times, but they were always out. I think you need to arrive early to snag one. I also had their shrimp plate for lunch, which was excellent. And their shaved ice is truly the real deal!
This place has quickly become one of my favorites!! So many options and they are all delicious. The best part is that you are on the beach still but not Waikiki. Feels much more out of the way. Watch out for people who are not patrons who steal tables but don’t eat. This place gets busy and tables fill quickly. Had a long line because they were short staffed but the staff was still pretty fast and friendly. I ordered the egg fried rice which was yummy but small for the price. My friends had ordered the surf and turf and a burger which seemed to look tasty! The food was presented beautifully on their plates. They have tables that you can sit at with a great view. I stayed at Diamond Head for four nights and enjoyed breakfast one day and lunch on another at Barefoot Beach Café. The staff were friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the portions were enormous! The view was spectacular! You absolutely have to try the pineapple smoothie! I loved the casual atmosphere and the delicious food!
It was so nice having dinner with a view. While hearing the band in the background. The food was good not so pricey. They have enough options to make a choice. We also got the pineapple and this was a nice experience and the price was good. Nothing too fancy in the food. But it was nice for a quick unplanned dinner.
Good food, excellent service. Leave my food for a few seconds to grab utensils and napkins and came back to a herd of birds eating my plate. One of the ladies who work took my plate and gave me new food. So thank you for your kindness! Loves the orchid (I think? flowers with the food! Nice touch!
