We have been lots of times and love there however! We were also treated very badly by the older woman who served us. She was immediately rude and took our order but did not serve us our drinks. We had to go inside and order again with a friendly young man working there. We also asked her if we had missed the last bus back down the mountain and she said yes, however a local told us that this was not true there would be another bus coming in a bit. When she brought our drinks over she accused us of carving into the table with a knife and shouted at us, we had not touched the table. Her service got even worse when she snatched 20 francs from us when we went to pay for our two coffees. These cle...
We were actually looking forward to return to this restaurant since we had an OK experience last year. This time, I was welcomed in a very unfriendly manner even before I entered the restaurant: one of my hicking pole felt down which I did not see at once as I took care of my 3 years daughter while also putting on clean clothes after the hike. The waitress addressed me in a very rude tone regarding this. I could have somehow understood it if I were alone and did this purpose. Needless to Say that I turned around without eating or drinking at the place. The Bargis Restaurant is usually open from Christmas until Easter and then again from mid of may until autumn. Check their website for details. When the restaurant is open, there is also a bus service from Flims Post once every hour. The views from the valley behind the restaurant and also from the viewing point which is just 10min away are breathtaking. The restaurant has a very expensive menu and super friendly staff. In the winter month, they arrange a moonwalk with fondue after the walk at every full moon. I didn't attend it, but it must be a once in a lifetime experience. Wir kamen als Teil unserer Fahrradtour in dieses Restaurant. Es befindet sich am Ende der Straße, die nur mit Bussen erreichbar ist und markiert auch den Beginn großer Wanderwege. Wir konnten draußen sitzen und einen tollen Blick über die umliegenden Berge genießen. Upon completing a 2 hour Trekk through the Mountains, we came across the restaurant Bargis, just in time for lunch. Our drink orders were promptly taken and fulfilled, with sufficient menus for our group of Trekkers. There was no waiting, wow. My Rostii mit Spek, Kasse and sunny side up egg hit the spot. We had lunch in the open Terrace, and was even able to obtain a green tee. A must have is a beer from Flims. Great place to visit either by foot or by public transport bus.
Wir kamen für Kaffee und Kuchen vor unserer Wanderung. Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beautiful place, friendly and attentive service, very good Graubünden cuisine (Capuns was excellent), also delicious cakes. We enjoyed it. I can only recommend it!!
