I had a fantastic experience at Barley's where the Mushroom Swiss Juicy Lucy (June Special) was delicious. The food and service were top-notch, and I always love dining on the terrace.
I must admit that Barleys was not my first choice today. However, I am thrilled that my initial choice was closed (once again). I had no idea what a fantastic place Barleys is.
We are from California and decided to stop for lunch in Council Bluffs, a pleasant city. However, we were disappointed to wait nearly an hour for our food at Barleys.
Every single meal I ate here (6 or 7 times) was a pleasant surprise. Never had such good food at a sports bar. Not excessive. This is a fantastic lunch place.
