Went there tonight, like I have many many times over the years. It was very quiet, but it was early. On ordering, was greeted by the most miserable staff member I have encountered in a very long time ... I struggled to get a grunt out of her let alone a smile ... she wouldn't smile if she won the lottery I reckon. Thankfully this deplorable service wasn't confined to me and everyone was at least treated equally.Food was fine ...
We have been frequenting the morphett vale barnacle bills for decades.We found them to be an enjoyable moderately priced meal, however we recently have discovered that prices have increased by 50%.That in itself is not a problem, however the quality seems to have permanently decreased to the point where we will not return.We did speak to the manager but she didn't seem to care.Disgruntled customers.
We have eaten here a couple of times and the fish is always really fresh and delicious. I really recommend getting the prawns. They are fantastic. The service here was also fantastic. They had no problem at all swapping out something I did not want for some extras of what I did want. There is plenty of rom if you want to eat in and the service is really fast. Well worth a visit.
We've eaten Barnacle Bill many times, from several different outlets and are never disappointed. Our meal the other day was up to standard as usual. :) We ordered grilled fish, prawns & calamari, & battered fish for the kids. The chips were fine, the fish nice and prawns & calamari were great! You really can't go wrong with the food from this place. It never leaves you feeling let down as some take away places can. Reasonably priced and a nice range of cakes for dessert (if you can fit anything else in). Nice to eat in too, proper plates and cutlery!
Been here a number of times. Never been let down. Food has always been excellent. Reasonably priced. Last visited this week. The place is always clean and the service was excellent. Conveniently located on the way home from work - will be back.
They gave us food which was uncooked and gave us the wrong food and then the lady showed us attitude and said that we are wasting her time when it was her mistake?!?! Great customer service ????????????????
Had fish and chips here. The fish was nice and chips ok but tasted and looked like they had been sitting around a little while. The service was friendly and quick, will try other meals next time Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Recently we got their winter warmer deal it was of for the price but I have eaten much nicer fish at other local outlets. The prawns were just ok the calamari was better than I expected
