Out of all the times my wife and I have been out to eat this is the first time in years that everything has been right, everyone was pleasant, any questions we discussed a waiter stopped to clarify the issue. The timing of the entrees coming out seemed fast to the training waiter but we were surprised that they came out together. The food came out perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and the leftovers were as good the next day. The only downside I saw is that to me the beers listed were common. This is one of the few times I can say while pricey you get your money's worth. Again this is one of the best dining experiences we've had. Thank you.
I dined here for the first time on Valentine’s Day last night and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and exquisite food. We began with the scallops wrapped in bacon, which exceeded my expectations. For our main courses, I had the beef wellington, while my fiancé chose the crab-stuffed haddock; both were fantastic. To finish, we shared the crème brûlée and chocolate cake, both of which were outstanding. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant many times in the future.
The restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere and a good variety of menu options. I would have appreciated a few more toppings at the salad bar, such as hard-boiled egg slices or shredded cheese. Unfortunately, except for one, our desserts didn’t arrive, but the staff was very apologetic and accommodating. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
We shared the Seafood Appetizer for 2 and chowed down on the delicious salad bar! The wait staff were prompt and courteous! A lovely atmosphere for families and couples. I was even treated to a free brownie dessert for my birthday! Lit candle and all! Reservations are suggested..... It is a popular place, even on a Monday!

Dinner was wonderful! Salad bar fresh and tasty, our scallops wrapped in bacon were perfect, the steak for 2 was tender, and twice baked potato oh so yummy! Definitely will be back, it was our first time there a delicious dinner. Christian was a wonderful server. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you
Food is great however I gave 4stars because I asked for med-rare steak and got well done. I did not send it back but, I told and showed the waiter who didn't seem to care. A 60 dollar steak should be done the way you ask. Service was great and a great atmosphere.
Very enjoyable. I am from Albany but moved to Florida 10 years ago. I always try to get to the Barnsider when I am in town. Food is always good and my favorite is the baked stuffed shrimp with steak combo.
Top notch restaurant on every level. I really can not say enough good things about this place, staff, food, atmosphere, and overall experience. I highly recommend eating here...
