Barraco's Pizza Evergreen Park

The stuffed pizza is amazing- that crust is so crisp on the outside and so perfectly soft on the inside. They have a bit too many fried food options so if you're a foodie you won't find anything new or interesting. But the menu is vast, reasonably priced and the entrees are decent. If you like Italian, the pastas are great, too. I tend to always order the blackened chicken fingers which is an appetizer and amazing. They have a decent won't list, and a great shop to buy wines to go, but I've ordered a few bottles of red that came to my table so warm it felt as though they were microwaved, but they were gracious in their handling of the situation. It was my birthday and I was a bit disappointed! When I got to the location they did not have my reservation and kept telling me that I reserved at another location. After I pulled out my phone and showed them my reservation there was a scramble to get the table together. The service during the meal was mediocre to bad. The waitress was not attentive forgot about the food allergies at the table charged for items we did not receive. This all saddens me because I enjoy eating at this location and it really unfortunate for those that this was their first visit.

I haven't been to barracos since 2005 when I was diagnosed with EOE, a disease caused by food and environmental allergies. When I found out we'd be in evergreen park for a bachelorette mass, I googled restaurants in the area and found barracos and was excited to see they offered gluten free pasta. I ordered the pasta with garlic, olive oil, tomatoes, zucchini and mushrooms. Their version of GF pasta is one of the best I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back soon. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is unable to eat gluten.

My girlfriend and I went there for Valentine's Day and it was amazing. The food was fast and delicious just like I remember when I was a kid. Our table was ready without hesitation. If I had to say anything to change it would be that we felt alittle rushed. Our waitress asked us numerous times if we wanted our food boxed up. We were in and out of there in 40 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our specialty pizza, featuring a thin crust drizzled with olive oil, topped with basil leaves, tomatoes, and generous portions of fresh mozzarella cheese. It was the perfect treat after a challenging workout. We also had a glass of Robert Mondavi Merlot, which was very reasonably priced. Additionally, our server was attentive and pleasant.

Was just there for Valentines Day. Really nice place! Be careful while wearing Heels, the floor is wood but pretty slippery. Very good pizza and awesome Martini list.
