Beautiful ,with added serenity. Summer season so water at a premium, but nevertheless an experience [uncomfortable drivers beware] worth making the occasional off roading worthwhile. The fauna in the shape of deer/ibex.....not too sure, were amazing: totally curious overlooking Josie and me from a wooded cliff edge, but nervous enough to bolt for cover when I tried [stupidly] to get a decent camera angle.
with warm weather, the place is ideal for leisure and bathing. it also has a very cool, wild way along the river. but these types of places seem quite common in the region. So, taking into account the bumpy and time-consuming road to get there, I would only recommend going there if it is warm.
the first part of the route is closed for cars up to 15th october. we had a sunny day that was perfect for the walk. I went through the river on the way back.
great place to dip the feet into the water and go up and down the stream. the children (ages 6 and 2,) who had reopened the road.
