Terrible family meal. From when we entered the waiter was rude and we felt out of place. We order fillet steak, several fish dishes and a kids meal of chicken nuggets and chips. The fillet steak was strange, raw and inedible. The fish dishes weren't too bad but the kids chicken nuggets were raw and pink inside. The waited tutted when we complained and they did not take it off the bill. All in all after our first visit here, after visiting lanzarote several times we can safely say this was the worst meal we've even had in lanzarote and we won't be returning.
Been great food for over 30 years. Went twice this trip. Delicious stuffed escalope and fish the first time and then super fish paella for the send time. Our 3 year old son enjoyed the sausage, egg and chips both times which was thoughtfully brought out ahead of our mains and ate without prompting. So all round happy for his first visit.
Dropped in here for dinner after seeing some good reviews. It is a fairly basic restaurant serving plain but nice edible food and caters a bit towards English tourists which is not uncommon. I had mussels followed by grilled sole with potatoes. Both were absolutely fine if unremarkable. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful.
We have been to La Banba now three times. It has a very traditional style, the service is equivalent to silver service impeccable attention to detail. Great food, generous servings, fair price. A senior member of staff accused us of not paying the full bill fortunately we kept all the empty bottles of tonic that were served to my partner but he still insisted we had not paid in a highly aggressive manner please stay away as it seems tourist's are not welcome
We had lunch twice at La Bamba. Both pizza and the fish of the day were very good and service was friendly and professional. It was a cozy place with reasonable pricing, so we might have eaten there more times if we had found it earlier.
Typical Canarian food and service, superb house wines. Great place to eat. Was recommended by taxi driver from the airport. Try it, you won't be disappointed. The rabbit and octopus was phenomenal. 10 out of 10
