Barrio Nachos were good, small in portion- 3 loaded small corn tortillas. We didn't know what to expect from the choice of this place. I guess we expected street food or house style food. This place would be great for groups and some cocktails. My thoughts and perhaps not those of others: Light limits on pretentious or artistic exploration on food. The service was very attentive.
Food was unique and well made. Excellent tequila cocktails. Service is very quick so if you want a leisurely dining experience you have to stagger your orders. This is easy because most of the menu is small plate items which are meant to be shared.
Overall my wife and I loved the restaurant and we definitely go back. The only thing that was hard was the sound. It was very loud and difficult to hear each other and the waitress, which was immense.
Casual vibe. Crowded and fun. The snapper was terrific. So was the pablano and steak. Service excellent. Definitely a place to return with a group. Fun!
