I visited the Clawson location at 6:55 AM, but they didn't open the door until 7:07. When I ordered a bagel with butter, they mistakenly rang it up as toasted. It took them about 5 minutes to open the cash register, making the experience quite disorganized. However, the bagel itself was good. The owner made an effort to make things right, which I appreciate. I'm not looking for compensation, just hoping that a business I made an effort to visit would be more punctual in the future.
I just started working in Southfield so I?m new to the area and have been trying to find new places to eat. Barry?s Bagels had one of the highest ratings on DoorDash so I decided to give it a try! I got the turkey bagel and a side of Mac and cheese. It did NOT disappoint. At first I was weary of the prices, keep in mind DoorDash does up charge so I?m not sure how that compares to in store pricing. Left without even getting my order. You could tell they were very unorganized. Waited for a very long time with no recognition, they messed up the guys order in front of us 3 times and then skipped our order completely and someone the people that ordered after us and had more sandwiches got theirs before ours. Plenty of people on staff but it took at least 4 employees to look for the large coffee cups all while 6 customers were in line just waiting for their food.
I waited for 40 minutes in the restaurant and left without receiving either a refund or my order for a single breakfast sandwich. After placing my order, I found out that it was entered incorrectly when I asked for an update. I was told that refunds are processed at the end of the day, not in real time. I visited this restaurant to grab a bagel and coffee and had a pleasant experience. Upon entering, I was greeted and quickly placed my order with the cashier. They were offering samples of pumpkin bagels, which I tried and loved. I also purchased a small medium roast coffee, which had a great flavor. I left satisfied with my meal.
my man and I have bagel sandwiches this morning, very disappointed! ordered bacon egg and cheese asiago bagel for me had the egg no taste of the speck was very soggy and bagel had no asiago. my man ordered the same with a simple bagel, no taste at all! not the money worth, tim hortons is better!
Great selection of items including Michigan products! Incredibly KIND and professional staff! My bagel was delicious and when you ask for cream cheese you get cream cheese not just a thin layer like other bagel places. Definitely looking forward to going there again soon!
