Six of us booked here for dinner on a Friday night and it was lovely to see a good crowd filling the restaurant. We quite often eat here as it is local and always has great service and food.On this occasion the service did not disappoint and neither did the food for five of us. Unfortunately, I chose a dish from the specials menu “spicy seafood soup” which really didn’t match the usual quality. Yes, it was spicy and there was seafood – five mussels and two clams – however, 50% of the dish was tofu, which was not mentioned on the menu. Il mio fish burger era davvero ottimo, non avrei messo il cavolo ma questo è un gusto personale. Servizio buono ma difficilmente ci imbattiamo in problemi con il personale in Australia. Prezzi non economici ma proporzionati al tipo di servizio. Locale carino ed informale con vista sulla coogee bay.
Delightful and casual lunch spot. Not too formal or complicated and the view over the bay is gorgeous especially on a sunny day.The meals are pretty stock standard, but very nice. There were 11 in our party, and everyone was happy with their meal. I had the fish and chips and this was lovely. Not overfried or too much batter. They are also licensed and have a good selection of wines and cocktails.The service was pretty good too.
This used to be my restaurant of choice but like a TV show that runs for too many seasons, an Author who has run out of words or a team that it playing yesterday game it has become bland and dullThe menu that once surprised is now odd, the food tasteless and the staff vacant. I have lost a friend and now need to explore the delights of Coogee and Bondi.As for Barzura, avoid and delete from your contacts now!

I keep hoping that Barzura is going to make it back to their glory days, but it keeps falling short in both service and food. Of course the location and view is wonderful, but I just wish they would get hire people who love providing service rather than making you feel you are inconveniencing them. There also needs to be more passion and flexibility in the food from the kitchen. Coffee is great!
Came here twice on my visit and found the service and food to be really good. they managed to squeeze two of us in last minute on one occasion as the place was really busy. Felt like we received great service though and the veggie salads were amazing. Really enjoyed this place.

Enjoyed an outstanding lunch with my spouse. We sat at an outside table overlooking the surf at Coogee beach. Service was excellent. There is a large choice of dishes and desertsee. Plan to come back again while in Sydney

Beautiful views and a brunch worthy to compete with any. Highly recommend the sausages here. Also the corn fritters!
