Roast beef hero costs $13. For that you get a decent sized sandwich bread with a very small volume of meat relative to the size/thickness of the bread. Along with upgraded quality, a higher price is often expected in a specialty shop such as B&P, however, my experience in similar shops is that the extra dollars delivered a generous enough amount of meat. All I tasted was bread! C'mon B&P cut your price or at least provide More than 4 slices of beef I feel like I was ripped off...
I came here a few times in the past. Never thought to write about this place, wasn't memorable. Sandwiches were very pricey and didn't taste good, it was off. Won't be coming back ever again. Very rude and bad customer service a younger female at the counter was disinterested and extremely unhelpful. I'll likely go to a different local market, kitchen kabaret has always been nice.
Basil and Prime is one of my favorite go to for prepared foods and all my cold cuts. It's probably one of my favorite pork stores ever. You never have to worry about your chicken cutlets not being thin enough or your cold cuts clicked just right. From the staff, to the food, to the cleanliness of the store it's delicious.

Not a lot of variety at this market, and prices are too expensive for what you get. If you are looking for gourmet foods/deli items in your local area, I'd recommend a lot of other places that have more items/variety with better prices and quality. The customer service was subpar as well.
My family and I have been coming to Basil and Prime since they opened. They offer fresh delicious Italian food,quality meats and more. They always provide top notch customer service and the food is always delicious! Don't go here on an empty stomach. You will want to eat everything.
Great sandwiches and I like the way they package their chicken cutlets and the folks that work there couldn't be nicer. Also during the early stages of the Covid pandemic they were there for the neighborhood bravo!
Recently visited basil and prime, as always the store is very clean. We love getting our chicken to make cutlets from here. Can't wait till the lobster rolls are back! Definitely worth the visit.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. These owners raised a racist daughter. Don't come here, especially if you are a minority in this country. Go support other businesses.
