I recently dined at Basil Cafe, and it was such a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, welcoming vibe made us feel right at home. The food was fantastic—every dish was bursting with fresh flavors and creativity. You can tell a lot of care goes into each plate. Ray, made the experience even better. He’s incredibly friendly and clearly loves what he does. He checked in with us during the meal, and it felt like he genuinely cared about our experience. The staff were awesome too—attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service shine, but Basil Cafe nails it. I always have an amazing experience at this restaurant. Tonight, I had an incredible meal starting with the watermelon and cucumber salad with a zesty lime dressing, followed by the lamb shank with eggplant and jeweled rice, and finishing off with the poached pear over rice pudding. This was truly one of my favorite meals ever. Corrine, our waitress, was incredibly sweet and accommodating, and the other servers were very attentive. I sat on the charming and beautiful back deck, although there were some occasional bees due to the outdoor dining. Overall, I would give this restaurant 10 stars - everything here is top-notch!
A lovely restaurant with amazing service and fantastic food. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are gorgeous which, along with the wonderful service, leads to a phenomenal dining experience. The menu includes some of the best Persian food I've ever had along with favorites like the Rack of Lamb and an exceptional New England Clam Chowder. The kebab is made with ridiculously tender meat cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the bread pudding had me daydreaming for a week after our visit.

Beautiful outdoor setting of tables, greenery climbers spread all over top side. Food we had was excellent, especially sea food choice is still mouth watering..overall a good dining outlet restaurant, Parking available in front of entrance. Worth for money.
The filet mignon with pink peppercorn sauce was exceptional. I also ordered Sautéed Fingerling Potatoes, Tomatoes with Kalamata Olives, and Sautéed Mushrooms to accompany my meal. This was the best dining experience I've had in a while.
I have tried the Wild Salmon at this restaurant twice before. It was delicious today, but unfortunately it was overcooked and very dry. I ended up filling up on the veggies instead.
