On the north end of Ossining (on Campwoods Road) ... Pasta moved into our neighborhood about 6 years ago and we love it. Roger and Jeff are suburb chefs. Their pizza is unlike any other in town. Fresh, farm ingredients make all the difference. We swear by this place. You must try and taste for yourself. A popular spot for Ossining cops, and they know the best places to eat :
I had heard many great things about Basta. I finally got around to ordering from here. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. The pasta was almost inedible from how salty it was. The Margherita pizza was mediocre at best. Very disappointed by the chicken parm hero. The best part of the meal was the chips that came on the side. First and last time visiting this place.
The food here is delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly. I ordered the chicken caprese, and it's definitely one of the best I've ever had—so fresh and full of flavor. The presentation is beautiful as well. I would have expected to pay double for this level of quality.

A great small town spot. The food was so fresh, with most of the ingredients grow by the owner. Prices are reasonable.
