the food was delicious, beautifully presented, but there was something missing. service was very good, but rather stiff, especially as the restaurant has a relaxed feeling. the ambiente is somewhat hip, but one-dimensional: it seemed unfinished. the weeping list is beyond this world! largest, most extensive we have seen. would be recommended with these comments.
Crescent duck, amish chicken, duck pate, cured salmon, and manchego cheesecake. So much perfection in so little time. Thank you for the excellent table on Christmas Eve. It really made our evening special. I couldn't have thought of anything more perfect than my meal at Batard. Michelin star well earned.
Overpriced for the quality not remotely comparable to other Michelin starred restaurants I have eaten at. Some good dishes, but some merely “fine”. None were outstanding. Our server was over the top in a theatrical and corny way that detracted from the dining experience.
Batard was a lovely experience, even though some of our dishes didn’t impress. The decor is impressive, the service professional, and the overall vibe was welcoming. I’d recommend Batard if you order the duck, the sole, and risoto. The wine selection is excellent. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
At first glance the dining room seems too austere, but the food was wonderful, and I came to appreciate the room, especially that we could hear each other.
