Bâton Rouge Steakhouse

As a fan of Baton from the early 2000s, I was pleasantly surprised by how much the concept has evolved while still feeling familiar. The atmosphere is now more casual and welcoming compared to the earlier days of collared shirts and white aprons, yet it still maintains an elite vibe and offers the special night out experience we all desire. Having not considered Baton Rouge as an option lately, I can't imagine going elsewhere and being satisfied. Baton Rouge Vaudreuil exceeded all my expectations, and I can't wait to return!

When the main course arrived, it was spoiled and seemed overcooked and unappetizing. The tomatoes on the garnish looked spoiled and tasted almost fermented, as if they had been prepared the day before. In short, this was an overpriced experience that didn't even rival the best fast food I've had. My dinner for one, which included two glasses of poor-quality but expensive wine, along with an appetizer and main dish, totaled $90. I was very disappointed.

We had a reservation for four at 7 PM. Everything seemed fine when we arrived, although they had some trouble finding our reservation. The service was just okay, and while the food was decent, it felt overpriced for a casual dining experience. Our main courses arrived before we had finished our appetizers, and it felt like they were rushing our meal for the two couples who were clearly there for a special night out.

I returned for the ribs and fries, and once again, I was pleased. There was no wait, and the service was quick and efficient. Our food arrived in a timely manner, hot and delicious. It's a shame that the restaurant doesn't offer the specials it used to have in previous years. The service was excellent, and our waiter was friendly and didn’t rush us at all. I rarely leave 5 star ratings but I have to give it to these guys; the food and service are second to none. Taylor was our waitress and she was amazing!And while other restaurants have raised their prices apparently due to the pandemic and inflation that ensued, the prices at BR have remained reasonable.I highly recommend this restaurant..as others do apparently cause it's always jammed packed.

$33 for this cold bavette… the sauce container is bigger than this steak.Salmon tartare mostly just thick pieces of avocado with a thin spread of salmon but for the regular prices.I understand inflation and prices rising but you can’t serve this and put your prices up. My kids ate undercooked pasta and dry hamburgers. I could go on.Absolutely disgusting and we will not be back. Save your money.

I've ordered delivery from this restaurant for two weeks in a row, and it seems like they don't pay attention to the special instructions. I asked for rare beef, but it came overcooked, gray, and with burnt edges. Last week, the ribs were drenched in sauce, making them too overpowering to enjoy. This will be my last delivery order from this Baton Rouge location.

The food was good. The portions are smaller then they used to be. Example: the beans used to be in a big bowl and it would overflow. Now it's a smaller cup that is full. It also costs more then it did before the pandemic. It was still a nice experience but some disappointment. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Food was okay, nothing too special. The lychee sangria was amazing. Good service despite finding a piece of plastic in my mash potatoes.

The drinks didn’t match the photos on the menu, but the food is excellent, and I really appreciate the generous portion sizes!
