What a lovely and warm, welcoming and gorgeous gem of a pub. Kath Mark and all the other staff were exactly what you want in a public houses staff; Friendly, chatty and able to pull a pint. The beer garden is ample in space. The interior is clean and homely, a proper nice pub in a lovely part of the world. I have visited the pub 3 weeks on the trot for the last 3 Wednesdays to attend the acoustic music evening (From 7.45pm onwards) If you want to hear great music or participate in a real, good old fashioned open session with some fantastic players this is the place for you. You don't have to be the best singer, guitarist, fiddle player or percussionist to join in, just be respectful when oth...

Staying in the village for the weekend. Popped in for a swift pint Friday around 6pm. The place was buzzing in a good way. You just got the feeling that this was the heart of the community with loads of people there for after work drinks. It was pleasantly full but still space. Swift service, good selection of beers and reasonable prices. An absolute gem.

The owner of the restaurant is very welcoming and kind. There are plenty of outdoor tables available. It is family-friendly and also welcomes walkers with dogs, as well as locals. Overall, it is a nice place with enjoyable evening entertainment.
We were only at the Bay Horse very briefly (for just one drink) but, despite the pub being very busy on a sunny August Saturday evening, we were served very quickly by very friendly staff. Great range of draught beers available.
We called in here this evening, what a great friendly pub . Nice to be served by happy smiling young ladies . And good prices on the drinks . We'll be back .
