The OFRT Xmas lunch here again.Booked for 15 at £35 for 3 courses.Some people passed on the starter but wished they had not.The main selection was a seafood terrine,which i had but there were other starters.Main course for most of us was the roast turkey which came as a tower on the large plates which consisted of roast potatoes as a base with parsnips then 5 slices of turkey and lashings of rich gravy.There were extra vegetables of carrots batons,brocolli and sprouts.Cranberry sauce in ramekins and more gravy.This was the best we have ever had.The puddings were rhubarb and ginger tart,xmas pudding and custard and cheese and biscuits.I had the latter which was 3 types of cheese,crackers and...
Wow. We were booked in for a christmas get together with our friends this evening. we opted for the Christmas party menu and it didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing i had the christmas dinner which was great value for money as well as being so tasty! the staff were quick and efficient aswell as being friendly, the young brunette girl behind the bar was very friendly and helpful (sorry i didn’t catch her name) nothing was too much trouble! i’d highly recommend to anyone after a lovely meal with friends or family. Will definitely be back soon.
Booked a corporate Christmas do with The Bay Horse fairly last minute, with no bother at all. Olivia was great at point of booking and very efficient and friendly. The night was perfect! Food incredible and service was impeccable! A warm environment awaits, with a great selection of meals and drinks. All allergies catered for too.Being used to the Hilton, I can honestly say the service and food won us over compared. A lovely, warm and friendly environment and atmosphere with great local produce. Highly recommend to anybody!
We felt like we were seated in a doorway, down a step by a back entrance. It was cold and drafty, and although we asked to move, all tables were booked. However, the staff were friendly and efficient. The food choices were very limited for vegetarians. For example, there was no vegetarian burger option, which seemed like an easy choice to offer. There were only two options for vegans/vegetarians, neither of which were very appealing. There were many more choices available for those who eat meat.

We needed a venue for a business meeting at short notice. I phoned to book a table and the lady on the phone was very accommodating to us and ensured she had a suitable table. We had a table for 6 and we all ordered different meals, the food was beautifully presented and exceptional quality! We highly recommend the Lamb tagine with couscous, katsu chicken curry and the steaks. Staff were efficient and attentive. Fabulous value for money and will definitely return!
We went here as a group of 10 plus 2 children. We arrived at different times and the waitress was quick to take our drinks orders as we arrived. The food was served quickly, and with very generous portions. Staff were attentive and always smiling. Overall we had a lovely evening and will be back.
After finishing work late, I came across a post on Facebook about Sunday roast delivery and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the roast, especially since it was takeaway. I will definitely remember this place for when I am short on time or just feeling lazy.
I went to this restaurant for a work dinner and the food was amazing. It was my first time eating here and I would definitely come back and recommend it to others. The staff were really friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and nicely plated. Can't wait to dine here again.

Waited 3/4 hour for a burger, venison and beef burger overcooked. Walked to the bar in the end as no one came over for half hour once we’d finished. Told the barman it wasn’t great but he wasn’t interested. £53 for 2 inedible burgers. Fries and coleslaw ok. Won’t bother again tbf
