Fantastic seafood meal at G M Restaurant. I've been eating G M crab cakes for a while now from getting them at their premade carryout store. This was the first time sitting down and eating at the restaurant so I could expand my options to the overall menu. First off, the menu is massive! A lot to choose from so it should satisfy almost any seafood lover's desire. My wife is not a fan of seafood and there are some pretty decent options for non-seafood folk too. I had the seafood platter. Crab cake, baked oyster with another crab cake smothering it, scallops, shrimp, and flounder! Yum all around. Everything was cooked to perfection. 2022 Crab cakes (pic) are over $30 each! Ouch. But they are still the biggest and best. No more discount for ordering the two-cake platter. Table bread butter was great. Service was fast on a busy Saturday night. Ate the Seafood w Marinara over Spaghetti (pic), and it was good, but would try something else next time. Best dish was prolly the Scallops and Steak (pic). Good for sharing, delicious. Table shared the Seasoned, Fried Zucchini (pic). They were ok, but way more than four of us could eat. Skip next time.
The host was a bit distant and had a passive-aggressive demeanor, but I persevered, and I’m so glad I did. First off, the cream of crab soup was outstanding—definitely one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend it. Our waiter was fantastic; he was attentive and frequently checked in on us. Just a heads up, the drinks are quite strong! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience there. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
At 17.00 a.m. to dinner, only a few minutes had to wait before they were sitting. Places our dinner order and it came so fast I didn't even have a chance to finish my bowl cream of the crab soup! Absolutely not had to wait long. My crab imperial was hot from the oven and delicious. I had a side of green beans and potatoes. I love this place! I always make a point of coming here when I'm in town. The crab cakes are the best... in the world! Even though all the other menu options are delicious and you can't go wrong, I always order the crab cakes. The service is top notch. Don't forget to order a bowl of Maryland crab soup. It's great for dipping the bread, too.
I took my wife to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and we had a fantastic experience. The crab cakes and stuffed flounder were absolutely delicious. We started with the stuffed mushrooms, which were filled with just the right amount of crab meat. The service was excellent—very efficient and well-managed. I can't wait to return!
Valencia is such a good waitress. She's very nice and personable. I'll always remember her. The mussels were delicious and the crab cakes were amazing. They were huge and had lumps all over. I had to bring the 2nd one home and it was just as good the next day. I'll definitely be back!
