Came here recently after having passed by a thousand times. It 's alright. Fairly diverse menu options. Got the pastrami sandwich. Regular size which was a decent portion. I opted for the hot pastrami, mayo, mustard, peppers. Ingredients were fresh. Grabbed a bag of chips. Came out to a little over $18. A little pricier than I expected. The pastrami was like heated up store-bought, thinly sliced packaged deli meat. Not impressed. Took a bit for my sandwich to come out. Sandwich was ok, though soggy from all the veggies and condiments. I experienced the dreaded sandwich slide when taking a bite. Y 'know? The fillings slide around upon every bite. Messy. I hate that we live in a world where two sandwiches cost $30. Despite the insane prices, I continue to order from Beach Hut Deli. This location shares a parking lot with a Target and CVS, making it the perfect spot for lunch after running errands. I ended up ordering the regular sized Malibu Sandwich and substituted the pastrami for turkey. This sandwich is layered between two slices of toasted garlic bread, mayo, italian dressing, and slices of avocados. They have a good number of seats throughout the restaurant, the majority including a private TV screen showcasing the latest sports game. There's also a patio for those of us who enjoy our sammies with fresh beach air.
We love Beach Hut Deli. We always get the Surfin Bird sandwich (See picture) Fresh bread, Turkey, avocado, bacon and my favorite the cream cheese spread they put on it. This sandwich is so delicious! Cream cheese on a sandwich might not be something you are used to but I highly suggest you try it. Their sandwiches come in several different sizes and the bread is always fresh. They have several other things on their menu for those non-sandwich lovers. There is plenty of parking at the Huntington Beach location and indoor and outdoor seating. Animals are welcome and everyone seems to love them. If you have not been to Beach hut deli before, run don't walk.
Not sure if Ryan still owns the place but BEWARE: Been going here since they opened and went again last night and they got me sick won't be going back; Place was filthy and the tables were not being cleaned or wiped down. Ordered a beer and it took 10 minutes because it was coming out the tap all foam .... the cooler was broken and beer was warm. I wasn't thinking and ordered the Pastrami ..... I was sick all night. This was my first visit, and since I work just down the street, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the sandwich I ordered was quite disappointing. The bread was torn, and despite requesting a small sandwich, I received what felt like half of one. It was messy, with the spinach just tossed on haphazardly, and there was a huge glob of cream cheese in the center. It seems like they don’t care about their customers or the quality of their food. Such a shame.
Amazing place! After a long day at the beach, I stopped in for the super salad and an ice-cold seltzer, and it was exactly what I needed. The salad was huge and loaded with toppings. We visit this spot often, and you can never go wrong with the Surfin' Bird or the Hobie. You definitely have to give it a try!
The service here is outstanding! The counter staff were friendly and very helpful. The sandwiches we ordered were fantastic! The surfer vibe is awesome, and I really enjoyed the music. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!
used to come here with my dad growing up but noticed the quality of service has gone down hill. everything is always dirty and sticky and the manager openly drinks with his staff on the clock. will not be back again unfortunately. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This place use to be good but now no one is cleaning tables , the place is not clean period and husband actually got sick
