After reading all the good reviews we decided to walk down the road n have our 27 anniversary dinner here. We were very dissapointed overall..... Our starters came out around 15 mins apart. Then we waited for what seemed like an eternity for our mains. My wifes steak was just as she ordered...rare to medium...well worth the $30. I ordered chicken breast....admitadly very nice but not worth $30 by a anyones standards. The wine is very expensive. No medium range bottles. Straight in at $32. We may return to try a lunch time pizza but not in a hurry. Sorry guys. Bit of a let down for our special night.
Went to have brunch with the whole family after picking up my in-laws from the airport from overseas. I was hoping to give my in-laws a good impression of Adelaide food. I failed... it was so disappointing and frustrating that of the 6 poached eggs we ordered, 5 came back hard boiled.. not 1 but 5, seriously??? We waited for almost an hour to be served with lacklustre food (omelet, smoked salmon, fish and chips)Not worth the spend. Never again. P.SService was great, lovely staffs but thats where it ends.
Quite decent for a mid week meal. It was pretty packed for a Tuesday evening, which got us walking in! Friendly and fast service, and some reasonable options on the menu. There are quite a few options which makes you think about the quality of all the dishes. However, my mixed seafood platter was large and quite nice. Some greens would have been nice. My partner's parmi was on the smaller side, but reasonably well done.
Although the food was decent, we waited almost an hour to receive it. The servers kept talking to a fellow server who happened to be dining there and ignoring the tables that needed clearing. When I eventually asked how much longer our food would be (after approx 40 minutes) there was no apology but just an explanation that there were a lot of orders coming up (yes..... you're a cafe... that's kinda what happens). The Beach Pit is consistently good- food, service, atmosphere. It is a place we visit regularly, for anything from a quick coffee to breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks with drinks. The menu has something to please most people, is reasonably priced and the specials menu offer great value.The vibe on Jetty Road is always relaxed and convivial, regardless of the season.
Brighton Beach Pitt is nice for an early dinner with little children around. The staff are friendly and service is generally good. The food is quite tasty and can be shared or individual. The Mezza Platter and Pizza's are great to share with everyone. Look out for Happy Hour (before 6pm) as you can get some good deals on food and beverages.
Without a doubt the best pizza in Brighton. Eaten here many times and have always had excellent food. The staff are great, always friendly and helpful. Food and drink selection is varied with plenty of options for any one. If you are in the area this should be your first choice for lunch or dinner.
It had been a while since I'd eaten at the Beach Pit in Brighton. Its a casual dining option on Jetty Rd with options including burgers, pizza and salads. I often choose the mezze plate as the options such as haloumi, salt & pepper squid & chorizo are always tasty. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Just enjoyed a beautiful lunch here. Perfectly cooked salmon with super crispy sweet potato chips and a prawn skewer (fish of the day dish). We also had a nice pasta dish accompanied with a glass of Bird in Hand bubbly.
