We were staying at the haven site up the road from this bar this weekend, arrived Friday the 20th and returned home Monday 23rd October 2023. Drove past in and out of the site so after being subjected to the typical haven entertainment we decided to try there on our last night. My only regret is that we didn't go sooner. Friendly staff staff and locals, prices very reasonable. It was quiet when we went in. But the lady doing the kids entertainment was fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble for any one working last night. Thank you all for a great night, even after me being wrapped in toilet roll, but I have my medal
Went there on Tuesday 22/6/21 after booking a table for 2. when we got there we were shown to the table which looked like it hadn't been cleaned for years. We were left sitting for ages before anyone took an order for drinks. had to go and find menus and sat being ignored by the staff even though they had seen us trying to attract their attention. Tried ordering another drink but got fed up after more than a 45 minute wait, we just left. will NEVER go back. only gave it one star because i can't do less.
I visited this pub with my partner and his 9 year old son. When we walked in the place was empty with only 3 people in the corner. The owner or manger (old with glasses) greeted us with “are you blind, wait at the door!” I immediately told him we would go elsewhere. Who on earth greets paying customers in that manner?! I was furious and I hope the place goes under along with him.
Discriminated my age as i’m 18 and before asking to see my I’d told me I wasn’t allowed to drink as I don’t look old enough which made me feel awkward. Very rude, and I will not be returning due to lack of respect. My friend also asked for a drink which she left her I’d at the caravan and the women said go and get it then in a rude tone. We are currently staying at presthaven and have been searching for a place to watch the England game. Came into the beachcomber and they were fully booked as all the other places were. Ryan who works here went out of his way to find us a table to sit at and has looked after us since we’ve been here. Fully recommend.
lovely pleasant and polite lady behind the bar, we have been here before but never had such a warm welcome, I believe she only started recently. The atmosphere was amazing what a difference keep it up Beechcomber...
Lovley freindly staff food amazing and reasonable price service a few minutes late only because so busy and staff so apologetics gave children fee ice cream and chocolate would highly recommend x
