we order every Saturday chips from this fish and chip shop for our chippie and train smash sandwiches and I don't think we ever go anywhere else. chips are fresh crispy perfect amount of sauce. we get $10 worth and feeds 3-4 adult and 2...Kids last time we ordered that we have our and got chickenburger and the beach as burger and allg, seriously amazing. definitiw the money worth. we had 1 bad chips, but we called and they were more than happy to teach us to fix the problem. children love samstage, we clink order and go pick up and stop them through toby’s convenience store next to the door for a fresh brot and sarsaparilla. I want a contract.
The burgers are really good! The oil they use is Rice Bran I believe which gives amazing flavouring and has been shown to lower cholesterol by 42% in a group of tested subjects. The service is quick, straight to the point and reliable. The batter is light, fluffy and crispy. The battered sausage is an awesome little devilish sin of a snack if you're feeling adventurous and sausage is your thing. A nice local place in Eagleby, so I walk there.......from my car.
I love the idea for the cafe to strengthen community ties and help the under privileged. But unskilled cook when i went there for a bite with a mate. Purchased burger and chips with milkshake. Milkshake was pleasurable but not so much with the burger....Fillet was heavily over cooked and charred with very little sauce. Chips were also good. Ill give it another shot.
I recently tried the battered hoki and chips for $9 at this restaurant and it was delicious. The hamburger and chicken burger were also fantastic, and the chips were cooked perfectly with delicious gravy. The staff are friendly, but the only downside is that the restaurant is not open on weekends. Despite this, I will definitely be returning.

This fish and chips restaurant used to be a nice family-owned business with very friendly service. However, since it changed owners, the reviews have been very negative, so I have not returned. It's a shame because it used to be great.
I haven't been around for over a year. new owners. carving with speck and hollandaise sauce ordered. serving was large (2 pieces), speck was delicious and top quality. sauce was delicious. will be back soon.
The restaurant serves high-quality food and the staff are friendly, kind, and quick. The decor is beautiful and always clean. This restaurant definitely deserves 5 stars and more.
Chips are delicious- super crunchy and burgers are nice. I just wish they were open for dinner and weekends. 10-5 week days is super bizarre
