to the breakfast. big mistake. I ordered toast what I got, was warmed stale brot. it came back to waitress who informed me: “It’s dead, it was in the toaster.” I explained I expected that I would touch the roasted brot. the waitress returned with the same...big brot slightly roasted, which she threw on our table without a word! Of course, the “toast” was unusable as it was so hard. it could not be disturbed to return it that way. shock service, eating and keeping.
Oundle would not be the same without Beans and we were so glad when they could re-open for takeaways. It’s great to be able to sit in again and now there are a few more tables the good atmosphere is returning. Have been coming here...for years and still love Beans. Long May you continue.
I am not a local, but I stopped by this restaurant for lunch and tried the homemade lasagne with a side salad and bread. The dish was beautiful, generously sized, and the salad was fresh and tasty. It was definitely worth the price, and the staff were very friendly.
I had the most delicious prawn sandwich that I have ever tasted, the bread was soft and freshly baked and the prawns were high quality, crisp, fresh salad and generous portions. The staff were lovely and friendly, I would highly recommend a visit ! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
They have visited this restaurant multiple times and consistently had a good experience. The staff wears masks and provides hand sanitizer. There is a wide variety of cakes, drinks, and meals to choose from. The milkshakes are delicious.
the only thing to eat was a chili con carne without sour cream and cheese. not quite what I wanted, but it tasted ok. brewaboo over the street is much better but more expensive. you can't win!
The restaurant is always welcoming and friendly with a great simple menu. It's definitely worth a stop, even if just for a takeaway. Enjoy the views of Oundle town and catch up with friends.

Beans have a good, practical system in place for takeaway coffee and snacks during the pandemic. The coffee I ordered came quickly and was good quality.
