It's good I don't live near Bears. It could take years of my life! As it is, I eat there as often as I have the chance, and purely by chance on a Statin recipe since the adoption of my addiction. Existing items are the burned ends (and the brisket in general), the beans and the weekend beef rib special. A massive rib is too much for amateur appetite! I spend a lot of time in Memphis, but honestly Bears beats everything I had there (except perhaps the ribs in the BBQ shop in Midtown... if you're ever in Memphis, that's also worth the trip). Bears is just one of the best BBQ joints anywhere. Period.
Absolutely LOVE! I’m from Texas and it was difficult to find a decent BBQ spot that hits right at home, until I found Bears Their staff is always so lovely and hardworking. The food is always hot and fresh, 10/10 recommend Bears BBQ to anyone who wants to find some delicious BBQ. I’m constantly craving their Brisket. Much love to the management team and the staff, thank you for making my experience absolutely amazing every time I go there!
Good smokehouse food! I got the ribs and pulled pork! Ribs were delicious and smoked to perfection! Definitely worth the up charge to me. Also enjoyed a cute garden salad. Corn bread was okay. Soda fountain was working but store had no cups available. Had to buy bottles of soda for 3.50$ each. Overall reasonable prices for the quality of food!
A taste of Southern BBQ up North. When I was invited to this cozy restaurant just minutes from Hartford Airport ? I was quite surprised by the variety of food and large portions. The smoked meat flavors were well-seasoned and the side dishes made it difficult to choose only two. Great barbecue joint.
