One of our favourite eating places in Holmfirth. Opposite the bus terminal, just off the main road. There is a deli at the front and a cafe to the side and behind. This cafe is popular so visit early to get a seat. I had a hot roast turkey sandwich, with all the trimmings, only £5.95, my wife had a roast ham and mustard sandwich. Both were wonderful and very filling. However for something different you could have pea soup with a pork pie. We always call in here when visiting Holmfirth.
Found this little gem whilst on our Easter break in Holmfirth. Went for coffee couldn’t beat it lovely coffee and had soya milk. So decided on our last day in Holmfirth to have a breakfast. They had gluten free options. It was absolutely beautiful food and well worth the money. I had a bestie’s breakfast gluten free. Staff there are very polite and lovely. Nothing is to much trouble. Would highly recommend going for a coffee and food will definitely go again when in the area.
What a beautiful place .we went in and unfortunately we had not booked a table ,but was found one within a couple of minutes. The atmosphere is brilliant and the staff very helpful and make the time to chat .the food is very varied and I can't remember the last time I saw ploughman's on a menu .my wife had the ploughman's and it is huge .I had a panini of which there is many to pick from . Little bit of heaven in a brilliant location
Here for a birthday lunch. The staff are really lovely here. They emerged with surprise cake with a candle and sang Happy Birthday. And wrote Happy Birthday with a drawing of a flower on Laura's take-away scone box. Forgot to leave a tip. Will rectify next visit! And they have a good range of deli stuff too. We went to this restaurant twice during our stay and it is a delightful place. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is spotlessly clean, and the food is delicious. We especially recommend trying the pea and ham soup. A visit here is definitely worth it, you won't be disappointed.
Food was fantastic. The hot sandwiches and sharing board were very tasty. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were a party of 7 so had to wait for a table but well worth it. Check out the cheese selection to take home
I recently enjoyed the most out-of-this-world carrot cake at this restaurant, topped with a generous dollop of pouring cream. The cappuccino was delightful and the service couldn't have been friendlier.
Beatties is a lovely cafe and we had an excellent experience; the food is 10/10 and the service is out of this world! We particularly like the filter coffee with a complimentary top up : Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We only ordered coffee, but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is cute and welcoming, and we would definitely return. The atmosphere was lovely and inviting.
