Wir erschienen ohne Reservierung, unterbekleidet (Shorts, T-Shirts, Wanderschuhe), an einem Samstagabend und hatten das Glück, einen Tisch zu bekommen, allerdings musste dieser drinnen sein, da die großen Tische draußen alle besetzt waren. Als erste Wahl sprechen die Kellner Italienisch. Wir hatten beide die hausgemachte Lasagne und sie gehörte zu den besten, die wir je gegessen haben. Die Preise waren überraschend moderat (in den 20er-Jahren für ein Hauptgericht) für ein Restaurant, das so gutes Essen und eine so elegante Atmosphäre bietet. Wir würden wieder dorthin gehen, wenn wir jemals wieder in Thun wären.
We had lunch there with a large group for a family get together. The food was excellent . The prices are obscenely high and the service was very good. My only complaint was that we wanted to stay and visit outside on the terrace for a bit and they wanted us out of there after we ate They were not busy at all so I did not think it was a big deal but once they got our money, it seemed like they were not interested in our group at all. Right on the river Aare, huge terrace, so many waiters I couldn't keep track, so many local Italians come to dine at this Italian restaurant on this Saturday night that the hugging and kissing didn't stop, very tasty food, including huge chocolate sundae with great vanilla ice cream, and they found a table for us when we just showed up without a reservation with no fuss or bother.We count this a find.
