The restaurant was quiet during Sunday lunchtime but severely understaffed, with three groups of people leaving while we were there. The staff seemed to take breaks, leaving only one girl to serve both the bar and restaurant. One diner had to retrieve his meal from the kitchen himself. The decor was outdated, with ripped seats, dirty walls, and water stains on the ceiling. There was rubbish blowing outside and the garden was unkempt, leading us to initially believe the restaurant had closed down. The food was overpriced and unremarkable for what it was. The '74 baconeater dish was not worth the price tag of over £16 (see picture). We would not return to this restaurant.
We stopped by for a coffee and received excellent service from the cheerful and friendly Jake. The food was so delicious that we ended up staying for lunch. The fries were the best in Worcester, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the peas were fresh and moist. Highly recommend trying the gammon. We were warmly welcomed by Katie, the manager, and Alice, our waitress, was always bubbly, friendly, and efficient. Special thanks to chefs Mike and Graham for their amazing dishes. My husband loved the lasagne as well.
Met up with friends here again on a Saturday for lunch . Given a warm welcome from Alice who was our server for the duration . Three of us had the chargrilled salmon and one had a burger . All of us enjoyed the meals which were cooked to perfection and served with ample portions . The service from Alice was prompt , delivered with a smile and friendly banter . The other staff members with whom we came into contact , were friendly and warm . Another enjoyable experience .
When we arrived we needed to swap tables owing to mobility issues with one of our party. This was sorted without batting an eyelid by Alice. Service was impeccable despite her seemingly being on her own our front most of the time. Food was great too everyone left happy. Well done!

Very good service with good sized portions. Had the fish and chips which was excellent, and came quickly after ordering. The staff were very friendly and were very helpful. Reasonable prices and well worth the money. I could recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Since they’ve increased the menu again there is much more choice. However the breakfast buffet could do with being changed every so often. I would like to see dairy free alternatives. I would also like to see healthier hot food options
We had a wonderful breakfast in a lovely atmosphere, and the young woman who greeted us and waited on our table was outstanding. We will absolutely come back again. Keep up the fantastic work.

Beautiful tasty succulent steak meal. Food only surpassed by the excellent attentive service from Jay. We will be back.
