Lovely meal from the set menu (circa £18 pp). Bit shocked to be charged an extra £4 for the sirloin steaks in our choice but I suppose that is what small print is about. The waitress was very helpful and attentive. Just wish that people would stop calling customers Guys and refrain from saying Enjoy , obviously this has come from our cousins over the pond. Needs to stop as it is unnecessary and Guys is disrespectful. It would have been nice to have had some Dijon mustard or French mustard, but according to our waitress they can 't get it anywhere. Should have asked me as there is plenty in our supermarket. It would be helpful if the prices of the beers were promulgated at the time of orderin...
Saturday 18th November party of four. I ordered salmon when I cut into it wasn’t cooked in the middle. Pastry under cooked also. 3 of the party ordered profiteroles which were frozen solid. Sent back salmon had fish and chips which were nice. Waiter said all profiteroles were frozen and to choose something else from menu we picked the apple pie which was ok. Very disappointed it was getting busy. Service: Dine in
Jamie, Lauren, Elliott, Vicki, Natalie, and Jade go above and beyond to ensure that every guest enjoys their meal. Nothing seems to faze them, and they are always friendly and attentive. The food is consistently fresh and served hot. The steaks are of great quality and are always cooked to perfection. I can't recommend this place enough; we travel from Coventry most weeks just to dine here!
The staff here is outstanding—always friendly and incredibly helpful. The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. Parking is convenient, as it’s located right by the entrance, which is great for me since I am disabled. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience for dinner, with meals averaging around £20–30 per person.

The food was alright standard pub food, staff were really friendly but service was slow. They were in no hurry to get the bill or food out to us. We were a table of 13, with a lot of different food and drinks, so you expect a bit of hit and miss, but everything was wonderful, no problems at all, and everything came in good time. They only order one cask of real ale each week, which is disappointing, especially considering that the hotel attached to the restaurant is full of real ale enthusiasts. They were informed in advance about this too. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere as a 3 out of 5 for dinner.
