visited with a small group of friends on a Wednesday tee time. was not very busy. service was friendly and fast. eating is standard pub chain restaurant quality and worth. I still find one of those chains that can cook and skalopps properly without making them gum. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was closer to medium / well done. the rest of the food was good, with a beautiful black forest sundae, to complete it. they get what they pay in this type of restaurants and overall their good value. access is good and parking is available directly in front of the door. the next door of mcdonald is busy and blocks the access road with the auto-dru gardeners, but it is not massive inconvenience...
never before, but can honestly say that I was impressed. the layout was good, the staff was very friendly, friendly and helpful. the order was taken immediately and the waiting time for the food was short, what was great. the food itself was straight enough, the full English had 2 sausages, 2 speck, 2 eggs 2 hashbrown, with black pudding, drilling, 1/2 a tomat and a big button mushroom, all perfectly cooked, the coffee was fresh from the bean that was very delicious. so all in all great worth for money, would definitely call again if by newark, just one can't live any closer
We live locally but haven't visited the restaurant in years. We only took a chance today as couldn't get in our favourite pubs due to it being mother's Day, but what a pleasant surprise. Food was excellent and the service even better. Love the spacious areas too, don't feel crammed in especially with COVID prevalent. We will be back
this was the first time that I had been curling downs since covid. the service was excellent. eating is good value for money. I had a steak and sampi, the chips were very nice £10.65 steak was average but passable. for the price it cannot fail.
