This looked like a really great place, but we were denied entrance because we had a 15 and 12 year old with us. I understand it's policy, but it seems like a silly policy they even had outdoor seating. The staff recommended The Mill location, but they weren't open for another couple of hours. We ended up at Grey Sail in Westerly where we enjoyed a couple of great beers and kids each had a soda.
I love Beer 'd and I 'm so happy they made a location that 's only 5 minutes from my house. Would definitely recommend visiting this place to enjoy a nice cold beer.PS don 't get mad that you can 't bring your infants or children to an establishment that serves alcohol... you parents need to grow some brain cells if you think it 's a problem that they don 't allow them in there.
Such a cool place! Been to the Beer’d in Stonington a few times but this was my first visit to the Groton location. Very sleek, art filled intimate space pouring some of the best beers in New England. Super friendly staff they have games! Best of all knowing it was a child free space made our visit so much more peaceful and fitting for such a cool atmosphere.
This is a cozy and comfortable brewery. The beers are delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The bartender is happy to chat about the different brews and provide samples before you make your order. Don't forget to grab some cheese from the store next door to elevate your experience! Quality beer, excellent conversation with those serving they definitely knew their stuff and were passionate about the product, super chill environment.p.s. No kids allowed very much appreciated there should be some places that adults can go without having to navigate strollers or teens.
This is likely my favorite brewery in Southeast Connecticut. It's a wonderful place with fantastic staff and delicious beer!
The ambiance is fantastic, and the beer is fresh, all conveniently located in the heart of Groton.
