Visited here on a motorbike trip with friends after reading some good reviews and it was superb. On our trips, short and far, we drop in to a lot of cafes that tend to fall into 2 categories. Firstly you have the old transport cafe type places where it is all about quantity. Normally run by a husband and wife with the wife doing front of house, waitressing and clearing tables and pretty much everything with the husband just cooking. They sometimes are joined by their teenage daughter who usually sports pink or purple hair and anise ring whilst wearing a bored expression that screams “why couldn’t Mum and Dad have started an opticians?” The food is usually big on quantity but poor in quality...
Called in yesterday with my best mate as we were staying over the road at the White Hart and needed something hearty to line the tummies prior to heading off for the annual Beer Festival old MCS reunion in Brackley. We were not disappointed, the two mega breakfasts were well presented, beautifully cooked and well flavoured Bacon, Sausages and Mushrooms along with all of the other ingredients, lashings of Toast and bottomless coffee (which was good and strong), all for under £20. Good location, friendly staff and very good value for money, two very happy chaps will definitely be back whenever we are in the area. Well done !!
What a delight to meet the owner who runs this business with a genuine desire to keep customers happy. I opted for an all day breakfast, I can tell you the portion was absolutely massive that I struggle to finish it. I thought it was the upgraded king-size version and no it wasn’t! It was delicious, everything cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed my conversation with the two ladies there. And clearly customers love going because of the personal approach. It absolutely is a one off.!
OMG what an amazing place. The best service and breakfast o have ever had. In a huge room above the post office Bee’s Cafe is top notch. I had the mega breakfast. Which is huge. The ladies running cage are so kind and generous. They kept asking me if I wanted more tea, toast. So friendly. I plugged in my laptop and worked for a couple of hours. This restaurant is a perfect hidden gem, located upstairs in a post office. It offers amazingly priced dishes made with top quality ingredients. Their motto is "no one leaves hungry" - if you want more, you can have more. It's a small, family-run business with owners who are incredibly kind and willing to accommodate any request.
This i must say is the best cafe I have ever visited! Portion size on the full breakfast was amazing, god knows what the mega breakfast would be like! Super value for money too. The owners are amazing and make you feel right at home. A must visit for anyone in the area or passing 100
Always brilliant food, great service and one of the few places that remains a proper British cafe. Great atmosphere from a family run business. Haven't found many places this good anywhere, if you want a traditional english breakfast.
