*4 1/2 stars my noble chewing gum and I held here on Friday afternoon for a gentleman after a good Mexican lunch on the road. I was here almost a decade ago (good herr) with other friends and was pleasantly surprised to see this place still in existential and flourishing. at the time I had specifically gone to try the beignets since I lived in new orleans and was a regular at cafe du monde, but I actually ended up enjoying the donuts here more. We had an amazing experience at this restaurant, from the service to the food. It was our first visit and we were unsure about how to order, but the staff were happy to explain everything to me and my children. The children were thrilled about the idea of a customized donut. Not only were the donuts delicious (and we enjoyed watching them being made), but the staff also took the time to talk to my daughter about how the donuts were made. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this place to others. Just a word of warning - the donuts are very rich and sugary, so be prepared for a decadent treat!
I love beignets and it is so hard to find in NJ so I had to try this location. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. The nice yound lady explained how the pricing works. I went with the 2 beignets (1 cinnamon and one powder) and 1 peanut butter and chocolate donut. I paid about $6 and left. When I tried the beignets they were good. I didn't expect them to be so big, so 2 were very filling. I had a good experience and would return.

I love this place! They freshly make all their donuts to order and the prices are very reasonable. I stopped by here in the morning for a coffee and donut with my partner before heading to a family Easter brunch, so I'm sure they have more to offer on weekends besides just donuts. I even noticed a special on ravioli filled with cannoli cream. I will definitely be returning soon.
Highly recommend getting the beignets with powdered sugar here. We were craving them after our trip to New Orleans recently and this definitely hit the spot! Staff is friendly and the beignets themselves were as good, if not better than the ones we had in New Orleans!
OMG...Beignets is the best. Where else can you go where they make your donuts for you while you wait? The flavor choices are beyond imagination. While I was waiting I had a cup of the best hot chocolate I've had in my entire life. I will definitely be back again.
DELICIOUS!! The beignets were fried perfectly and tasted delicious and the donuts were fresh, hot and so tasty. We also got a spinach and feta soufflé which was also very good. Definitely will return ??
