I was diagnosed coeliac last August and have been struggling with the GF diet, most of the foods I 've tried aren 't nice at all. Someone told me about Belgrave Chip Shop last week and having a full size GF menu, so I had to try it!! Well, we wasn 't disappointed at all when I say we, its because my husband who can eat anything off the menu, was tucking into my GF fish bites and GF chips. They were that good, he said he would have them over the normal menu We live the other side of Tamworth to Belgrave but will definitely, 100%, be making the trip when we fancy a 'chippy tea '. I highly recommend this chip shop! One of my children has a food allergy and when I spoke to one of the employees, he was very helpful in checking the allergy information for each product we inquired about. He even offered to make some gluten-free dishes for us after finding out it was safe for my child to eat. This gesture meant a lot to us as we often struggle to find suitable options for our dietary restrictions. The service was extremely helpful and friendly, and I couldn't have asked for more.
I wouldn't go to any other place! The service is fantastic and the value for money is great. My only complaint is that sometimes the chips aren't cooked enough and are a bit greasy and pale (although this doesn't happen all the time). It's a shame that the food isn't wrapped in foil to stay warm for longer.
always get a mini special fish chips n curry. from here.. a large part for a mini. best chip shop. wudnt go anywhere else. all employees are always so polite. his a joy to come in...loving service .love eating. beautiful men x

I had struggled to find a good fish and chip shop until I discovered Belgrave Chippy. The fish and chips, kebabs, sausages, etc. are all amazing. The hygiene rating is 5 stars. I won't go anywhere else now.
Best fish and chips in tamworth that me n my mom had friday lunch time and lush curry sauce! Not badly priced either! Dont think i will go anywhere else now!!!
