our five-member party on Thursday evening in bellacosa. when we arrived at 6:30 a.m., we were the only customers, even though the business was picked up later. two in our party have food allergies, but since most dishes are made to order, they were able to fulfill most. we bypassed the tapas menu and ordered from the regular duck menu, starting with an egg and spinach soup that was very good. then came an order of mushes in a sauce delicious enough to drink. our entrees were auberginen parmigiana, chicken parmigiana, linguine with white mussel sauce, calamari fra diavolo and chicken scarpariella. a mistake was made in the order, but they did it quickly. the room was comfortable and the servi...
In a city with an abundance of restaurants, Bellacosa Wein and Tapas Bar certainly deserves a spot on the dining scene. The food was enjoyable, and the staff was attentive and eager to please. Surprisingly, our first visit coincided with a surprise party for 25 people in the small venue. Despite the large group, we were impressed by how well the kitchen managed to serve both us and them seamlessly. My only critique? The name of the restaurant can be misleading; a more fitting name would be Bellacosa Wein and Antipasti Bar. While the small plates were delicious, their inspiration was distinctly Italian.
My wife surprised me for my birthday for lunch after a massage. What a perfect way to continue to unwind. We did not have meals but as you can see we had the cheese, meat and Bruschetta which were all amazing. The wine selection was very nice and allowed us to sample wines we typically would not with the flights. Can't wait to go back on another date night!
What an outstanding meal. My friend and I split the Bellacosa board (meat cheese charcuterie) and I ordered the Bellacosa pizza and she ordered the ricotta gnocchi. Finished my meal up with a heavenly affogato. Everything was incredible. Before I'd even left I was planning a return trip.

We had gnocchi, eggplant meatballs, mushroom pizza, blueberry peach cobbler, and chocolate polenta tart, along with a few glasses of wine. All were outstanding, especially gnocchi and eggplant balls, and Frank was fun and helpful. Highly recommended food and drink.
Bellacosa is truly a “beautiful thing.” Great food, excellent wine, and a wonderful atmosphere? I’d say it really is bellacosa! Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
