We visited on Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was bustling with customers. We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. Since it was our first time back since the remodel, it was great to see some familiar faces. Our server, Chad, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with potato skins and cheese sticks, both of which were delicious, though I particularly loved the potato skins! For our main course, we ordered the crispy chicken wrap and chicken tenders. The chicken tenders were fantastic, especially paired with their honey mustard. I highly recommend giving this place a try for its excellent food and service. I would rate it a perfect 10/10!
We were quite disappointed with the service. Since our kids stayed free at the hotel, we expected a better experience. However, my fiancé and I ended up being charged $40 for two $10 meals. When we asked the staff for an explanation, the lady became defensive and couldn't clarify why the total was so high. It seemed like they added a tip on top of the $20 plus tax. The food was just okay and not worth the price; overall, we felt taken advantage of. That said, I do want to mention that the staff was friendly most of the time.
I decided to try this Irish restaurant because it was conveniently located next to my hotel, and I'm so glad I did. The food was incredible, and the service was outstanding. I ended up dining there twice—once for lunch and once for dinner. Each time, we were looked after by fantastic servers. The burger was probably one of the best I've had in a long time. I will definitely return to this restaurant the next time I'm in Des Moines!
There really aren’t enough words to describe this place! I put an online order and set it to be picked up at 6:45. After finding out my kid had car trouble I called to tell them I would still pick it up just a little later. I got there and they INSISTED to remake our order so it’s fresh for us. The restaurant was very busy and seemed to be understaffed. Our server appeared to be managing all the tables by herself, yet she did an outstanding job. She consistently kept our drinks filled and checked in on our group of seven multiple times.
One of my favorite meals! I personally prefer ranch dressing over the raspberry sauce that usually comes with the Monte Cristo, but both options are excellent.
We were there for a late lunch. Had the salad special with chicken. Server was friendly and competent. Food good and bathrooms clean
