Hadn’t been to Benson’s in a while, it’s a small restaurant and usually busy, but I had read some comments lately about how good the food is, so my son, granddaughter, and I tried it on a Saturday morning about 10am. Had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The waitstaff moved quickly and efficiently and were very welcoming and very attentive. They moved about the small space with the intention of keeping the customers fed and taken care of. The restaurant was very clean. I was intrigued by the Gotcha description even tho I usually don’t care for current day versions of biscuits and sausage gravy. I couldn’t imagine how it could be served without being a soggy mess. The best dining experience I had or can remember since the mid 1980s. I had the Cyclops with onion rings. I luvved it!!! High quality food, high quality staff, and even the paper napkins felt of high quality. I was even more impressed when the server checked to make sure we had plenty of ketchup on the table. I have never seen a small diner be so full and people were even waiting outside for the opportunity to eat here. We will be back again and again with the hopes to try to complete the menu. Our breakfast was very very good. My husband loved his big chunk of ham, eggs cooked perfect biscuits were homemade as was the gravy and delicious. My eggs were cooked perfect, served with plenty of hash browns and plenty of bacon. Service was excellent and people were friendly. The restaurant had plenty of parking and we understand it’s open 24 hours. We will be back.
They have the best deal on a large biscuits and gravy. Tastes great, fills you up, and doesn't drain the wallet. Service was excellent. My only dislike is the size of the restaurant. More often than not, a wait is required, as there is too little space for the overflow of people who frequently visit. Highly recommend if you crave breakfast food later in the day.

Busy restaurant, but the food and service were awesome. My Big Mama burger and tots were amazing. I wish I had thought to take a picture before I ate it all We are definitely coming back here to try all the different menu items.
What a cute little place! I have a wheat allergy and ordered the steak and eggs with a side salad instead of toast potatoes. It was really good! My partner had the Big Mama burger. He said it was fantastic and it sure looked it!
Absolutely delicious!!! First time here and will be going back. Tyler (cook) Kendi (waitress) were so friendly.
Great little diner. The ham steak was MASSIVE. French toast was great, but the bacon was a bit overdone.
