We spent about 30 minutes searching throughout MGM for a restaurant or a counter service place in the Market. I've also never seen prices this high for a food court. I have to say this place was a pleasant surprise. We arrived just before closing, and they were still able to take our order. It took a bit longer because they were processing other online orders (Note to self: if you want to avoid waiting, place your order for pickup in advance). They started by serving us miso soup and seaweed salad, which we enjoyed. The soup was hot and packed with tofu, and the salad was very refreshing. The main issue for me was the level of service. The staff was not disrespectful, but it was clear they weren't particularly concerned about customer satisfaction. After finishing my meal, I waited 10 minutes before one of the sushi chefs asked if I was done, even though I was clearly visible to the other staff members. I tried to signal my intention to leave by piling up my plate with an empty soda can, used napkins, and chopsticks. When I finally got up to walk over to the cash register, I noticed a staff member casually leaning on the register while taking her time with other customers.

I placed an online order for pickup, and the website indicated that my meal would be ready in ten to fifteen minutes. However, after waiting twenty minutes, my order hadn't even been started. When they finally began to prepare it, they informed me that the website shouldn't have allowed me to order what I chose. They asked me to check back later, promising it would be ready then. First time coming here( had to be Christmas lol) was a bit busy, one of the things that stood out to me was Rufus, one of the only workers that was on the line making the order very attentive and very hard worker. Both qualities hard to find now a day and he has both, needles to say I will be coming back not just cause of the great sushi but because of the great work ethic and customer device shown by Rufus. Worst service ever. Went to MGM Grand for a concert. The place was packed with pre concert diners. They had no idea how to take orders or fill orders. Initially only one person was making sushi despite it being dinner time and a sold out concert. Food was decent when it finally arrived. Still the service was so bad I will never return.
I tried the Rainbow special roll, along with three regular roles: Philadelphia, California and Spicy Tuna. The fish was very fresh, and the rice soft yet crisp, these are the base for a good sushi. My only reservation was that the specialty rolls were not very creative.
The dish features thick, tender pieces of salmon and Katsuo, accompanied by perfectly moist rice topped with a delightful furikake seasoning. Chef Esteban truly knows how to create a winning combination!

Similar to other reviews--I enjoy the sushi but the service is very hit or miss. I usually order the California roll and Maryland roll.
A bit on the expensive side, but the food was decent and served quickly. The customer service was excellent.
